| The Board of Directors of KSG Agro S.A. (The “Company") is pleased to inform that the harvesting of the early crops was finished.
The entities of the Company collected 56 321 tons of the crops, while the planned amount was 68 500 tons. From them: winter barley - 3.4 thousand tons, wheat - 42.4 thousand tons, winter rapeseed - 3.4 tons and spring barley - 7.1 thousand tons.
Rates of the crop yields in the Holding’s entities are above the Dnipropetrovsk region’s average, despite not favorable weather conditions.
In addition, this year's yields of winter rapeseed exceeded last year's figures almost by 50%.
Current market prices for early crops exceed those planned on 15% for wheat and on 19% for barley.
Traditionally, main income from farming in Holding was formed by the oilseeds, which was not less than 80% of annual revenue for the last three years. On the average across Ukraine sunflower yields in 2012 are expected to be lower for 4%, in comparison with 2011. Experts of the Holding expect that sunflower yields will be less for 9% in comparison with the last year. Current price for sunflower seeds already reached its planned level, but the practice of the recent years shows that, since the beginning of harvest and until next year’s February, it grows by, in average, 15% - 18%.
